Relationships form a significant and important part of our life. We feel happier if we have good friends, supportive partners and nice co-workers. Sometimes in life we realise our relationships aren't what we want them to be. We may feel lonely, uncared for, taken advantage of, rejected, or just find it difficult to make connections. We may realise that our relationships all seem to follow a similar pattern, a pattern that doesn't work for us. Counselling can help.
About me and my practice
As a Person Centred based, integrative counsellor (which means I draw on a number of different modalities in our work together), I believe the work of counselling happens in the relationship we develop between us. That its important that the counselling relationship feels safe, connected and genuine.
I have experience in a range of counselling: anxiety, bereavement, carers (those caring for others), depression, emotional issues, mental health and stress. And for counselling that doesnt fall under a particular category, because lets face it sometimes life just gets hard, and we all need support when life gets hard
